Four International Publications Recognize VITTI's Work in 2026

Three of these publications were launched during the UIA World Congress of Architects 2026 in Barcelona, while another was published by the Harvard Graduate School of Design, bringing together projects that demonstrate different dimensions of VITTI's design philosophy and research.

The featured projects include:

• Baral Biddya Niketan School, published in 10 Principles to Build On, highlighting architecture that supports inclusive learning environments and community resilience.
• Baburail Canal Restoration, published in the UIA Guidebook for the 2030 Agenda (2026 Edition), recognizing the project's contribution to ecological restoration, climate adaptation, and participatory urban development.
• Bon-er-Bari, published in The Wisdom of Tradition, exploring how the spatial principles of the Bengali homestead can be reinterpreted through contemporary architecture.
• Baburail Canal Restoration, Hatirjheel Redevelopment, and Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park, featured in Designers of Mountain and Water, published by the Harvard Graduate School of Design, presenting landscape and urban projects that reconnect people, water, and nature.

Although each publication approaches architecture from a different perspective, they collectively reflect a shared commitment to designing places that are environmentally responsive, socially inclusive, and deeply rooted in local context. From restoring urban waterways and revitalizing public spaces to reimagining traditional spatial knowledge for contemporary living, these projects demonstrate how design can contribute to more resilient and people-centered environments.

For VITTI, these publications represent more than international recognition. They acknowledge years of collaboration with communities, clients, institutions, researchers, and multidisciplinary teams who have shaped each project through shared knowledge and collective effort.
