Three VITTI projects from Bangladesh, Baburail Canal Restoration, Redevelopment of Hatirjheel, and Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park, are featured in Designers of Mountain and Water: Alternative Landscapes for a Changing Climate.
Together, the projects show how landscape design can respond to damaged waterways and diminishing urban green space. Baburail reconnects a canal with its surrounding communities through restoration and public access. Hatirjheel brings water management, mobility and civic space together at an urban scale. Justice Shahabuddin Ahmed Park preserves mature trees while making room for gathering, play and everyday use. Their inclusion places VITTI’s work within a wider discussion on landscape and climate across Asia.
