The objective of the project is to determine the feasibility of Bangabandhu Sheikh Mujib Fire Academy in terms of economic, social and environmental aspects, as well as other infrastructural dimensions. The training center, in addition to the technical simulation zone, developed with a foreign expert consultant a conceptual plan for the academic zone. A comprehensive training and research institute has been designed and developed with sustainability and greenness in mind. As the learning environment is an important aspect for cadet firefighters and trainee officers, the infrastructure and landscape have been designed to ensure the appropriate learning environment. The orientation, zoning and design of the structures of academic, administrative and research facilities have been done considering the climatic conditions and site.
The conceptual master plan will include the land demarcation of the proposed facilities, designs for the basic infrastructure, etc. It will incorporate appropriate zoning, land use, aesthetics, environmental aspects, etc. The Feasibility Study will focus on initial environmental impact assessment (IEIA) and initial traffic impact assessment (ITIA) Finally, the development project proposal (DPP) will be prepared as the concluding task of this assignment.
