Description
The concept for this project is to create a dynamic and playful workspace that reflects the active personality of the client’s working style while avoiding a corporate look. The design aims to organize the informal office environment and incorporate elements that celebrate tradition, particularly in the context of garment manufacturing, where the human touch is essential. To achieve this, the workspace is designed as an island with workstations and breakout spaces, surrounded by a racetrack-like circulation space. This circular layout symbolizes speed and dynamism, in line with the client's sporty persona. Incorporating tradition and the tactile nature of garment manufacturing, the design features materials like recycled handmade brick and handmade metal work and spaces defined by fabric. These elements provide a hands-on, textured feel throughout the workspace, emphasizing the importance of touch in the client's industry. To enhance the ambiance, the design maximizes ambient lighting rather than relying on direct light sources. Lights are projected into the ceiling, creating a well-lit and inviting atmosphere. Additionally, the columns are artistically shaped like contemporary trees, giving the impression that everyone is working in the heart of an island, which adds a unique and aesthetic dimension to the space. The transparency and openness of the design highlight the utility of the workspace, articulating true expression, which aligns with the client's truthful approach to business. This concept not only organizes the messy office but also transforms it into a vibrant, functional, and culturally resonant environment for the young entrepreneur.
