Description
The Hi-Tech Park Sylhet is designed to be developed with a holistic approach by not only emphasizing industrial and business activities but also by incorporating every amenity necessary to support regular city life.
The administrative building is the first important building near the entrance of the project site and greets everyone with its contextual light design and accommodates banking facilities as a wing.
The design of the administrative building prioritizes the reduction of solar heat through various architectural strategies. Internal walls and rows of columns are strategically positioned to block direct sunlight from entering the building, minimizing heat gain. Additionally, extended slab designs create shaded areas, further reducing solar heat exposure. To enhance the building's energy efficiency and create a comfortable environment, a buffer zone is incorporated. This buffer zone consists of circulation spaces and green areas surrounding the building. These elements serve to create a protective barrier against solar heat, helping to regulate the internal temperature and reduce the building's reliance on mechanical cooling systems.
Furthermore, universal accessibility is taken into account, ensuring that the building is inclusive and easily accessible to all individuals. Universal design principles are implemented to accommodate people of diverse abilities, promoting inclusivity and equal access to the building's facilities.
