3 Land Ports & Master Plan

Description

The project aims to conduct comprehensive feasibility and design studies for three land ports in Bangladesh bordering India: Bhomra, Shaula, and Thegamukh. These studies will evaluate anticipated traffic and growth for the initial operation, after one year, and project developments over the next five years. Additionally, it is crucial to consult a broad range of stakeholders regarding the proposed works and their environmental and social impacts. This includes validating draft designs with key stakeholders before finalizing the studies. However, according to world acclaimed codes and standards, design criteria have been selected keeping in view all local conditions, technical, climate and historical criteria in the light of long experience in several major projects of the country and abroad.
