Nishorgo in Bengali signify “ Environment”. This is an Eco-tourism visitor center that provides information on wildlife found in the area and the history and culture of Bangladesh, funded by US Aid. Main functions of this project are comprised of the Information Center and the Exhibition space. This outstanding project is sensitively positioned in the forest landscape, with various life forms, in an attempt to integrate it with the surrounding.

The Centre endeavors to have an eco-friendly infrastructure. Due to its location and the derived concept, the design tried to conserve and protect the environment. This is conspicuous to the architect’s statement that, “The design is conscious of the natural world around the building and incorporates it”.
